Are You a Netflix Coach, or a Blockbuster Coach?

Blockbuster Video was on top of the world in 2004 when a small startup called Netflix approached them and offered to sell the company to them for $50 million. Blockbuster laughed. Today, Blockbuster Video is bankrupt, Netflix is worth tens of billions, and it is changing the way entertainment is created and delivered. The lesson for us coaches?

What is the name of this offense? Why would someone oppose of it?

Hello Coaches,

I run a Youth rep club (U13), but I was mainly the assistant coach. Now that I have been moved up to head, I was wondering if I could switch up the offense and thought this play had good ball movement, a set of screens and not very difficult for players to understand.

Please check it out and tell me what you like or dislike. Any suggestions?

It’s a short video and it is explained pretty well.

**There was one thing I changed up which creates a back door option from the week side where after there is a screen away from the post. The post player who is doing the screening also sets an up screen to the wing player.

Looking To Expand My Game

What’s up, Reddit,

I am currently 16 years old going into Junior year. I’m about 5’9 and I play Varsity basketball and AAU basketball. My main strength is 3 point shooting, making most coaches play me at the SG position. I consider myself a knockdown shooter, but I’d like to expand my game to make myself more valuable to my team(s). Please post your advice on what I should work on and most importantly HOW to get better in said area. I’d really appreciate your advice.
